H31 to H35

#31. Famous misnomers!

Wisecracking…

The wise never indulge in wisecracking! Then why is it so called?

Wisecracking is “A fool’s imitation of wisdom”.

Common sense which is quite uncommon is named as common sense.

In the same way wisecracking which is a fool’s liberty is named as wisecracking.

Here are two famous misnomers we use everyday and

hardly pay any attention to their implication in the opposite direction!

#32. Paradoxes in real life!

The offended may forgive.
But the offender … never!

He shouts the loudest…
who has nothing to convey.

No cloth is too fine for the moth to devour.

#33. History

The only thing we learn from History is that

“We do not learn from History!”

Otherwise why will History repeat itself at regular intervals?!

#34. Peaceful coexistence!

When the son is very young his father is a Super hero!
He is the strongest man, the tallest man, the most handsome and gifted man.
He can do everything under the Sun! The boy is all admiration for his dad!
A few years roll by. Now the child is teenager and his worst enemy is his father!
Always telling him what to do and what not to do! A real pain in the neck!
There are constant show-downs and a lot of friction between them!
More years roll by and the son is 30+ now. He knows now what it is to be
father of his son and what it was to be a son of his father years back.
He accepts his father now. They learn to live side by side as good friends.
Finally there is peaceful coexistence and amity between the two!

#35. A Point to Ponder!

A question to those who try to promote the concept of exposing human body,

and even Nudism…

If God wanted man to roam around naked, would He not have given man a shaggy

coat of hair and made him walk on all the four limbs??
