H166 to H170

#166. The two types!

Thinking about the two types of people who serve and who get served,

I discovered a thing or two.

Usually the good looking and the dull witted get served.

The ordinary looking and brainy people serve them.

Should it not be the other way round???

It should be!!! But it is not so!!!

But good looking people manage to use their looks to their advantage.

If they are also dull witted, all the more reason

why they should not be entrusted with any important task!

So it comes to the brainy people who willingly take up the challenge

of the added tasks and end up serving others for life!

#167. “The joy of motherhood”

“The joy of motherhood” as defined by my father is

“when the children go to sleep or take nap”

But since the children never take a nap together

and one always wakes up as the other starts a nap

the corrected definition should become

“when all the children take a nap at the same time!!!

In the Happy Nap Land…

Enter child number one… exist child number two!!!

#167. Old is Gold!

In the olden days women used to get up early before the household wakes up

and take a bath and finish as many chores as possible before the babies woke up

and started demanding their time, energy and attention.

Here in the West, the mothers sleep as long as the babies sleep (if possible for longer too!)

The whole household wakes up at the same time and a much later hour.

All the chores are to be done by everyone at the same time.

They have to share the bathrooms and other facilities in the short time available.

They will rather do this everyday than think up of getting out of bed a little early

and doing things more leisurely. WHY???

#169.The two extremes!!!

It is like the worker ants and bees which have no time

for merry making but have to work work and work

and the king and queen whose full time business is

producing eggs all day long!

If they stop the production they will be devoured

by their loyal subjects and replaced by a new king and queen.

#170. Wealth.

Children are called Mazhalaich chelvam ….another form of wealth!

So there must be a Law of Conservation of Wealth.

The total wealth (in all its forms) must be equal for every person.

God is not partial.

So he gives children who have no money and the other way.

He also give a lot of worries and diseases to the rich so that

they will have to part with at least a part of their wealth!

Hence the word “rich man’s diseases”.
