H46 to H50

#46. On Cats and Dogs!

A Cat OWNS the house while the master OWNS the Dog!

That makes quite a lot of difference in their attitudes.

The Dog tries to PLEASE his master/mistress.

The Cat demands to be pleased by its master/ mistress!

The Dog protects the family it lives with.

The Cat is protected by the family it lives with.

The Dog obeys all the commands including the weird ones.

The Cat quietly commands the household by her looks and postures!

The Dog has no special plans about its longevity

But a CAT has nine lives!

And a CAT can be sexy … but a Dog …never!

#47. Old is Gold!

Ask any connoisseur of wines! He will vouch to the authenticity of this statement.

Not just wine. An experienced doctor / lawyer / engineer is far more busy and earn much more than their fresh-from-the-college-counterparts.

It is the same thing with teachers and writers too.

They have spent more time in observing people, studying human behavior and have had enough time to ruminate on what they had watched and learned until it simmers to form the basic knowledge enriching and adding aroma and sparkle to whatever they teach or write.

#47. Knowledge and existence.

We never covet to possess objects – whose existence we are totally ignorant about.

So knowledge about an object and its greatness makes us wish to possess it.

We never wonder about things that don’t exist- like X Ray vision or Supersonic hearing ability for human.

We never had them, we may never need them, and so we may never miss them!

The very fact that we talk about/ doubt about an object is because we can FELL that it really exists and

YET we do not want to believe that it really exists!

So the very question ABOUT its existence is a PROOF that it really exists!

#48. Diamond Steel!

The hardest truth to be believed and accepted!

A hair-thin line separates…

Love and Hatred;

Life and Death;

Hopes and Despairs;

Goodness and Badness;

Light and Darkness;

Faith and Doubts;

Happiness and Sorrow!

It may appear to be hair thin but

it is stronger than diamond steel!

#49. Maternal instinct

Animals seem to be more kindly disposed than human beings.

Wolves are known to have raised human kids. We know the story of Romulus and Remus- those who

established Rome. Dogs protect helpless kitten.

In Jungle book ‘The human cub’ is taken care of by the animals in the jungle.

Maternal instinct dominates their inherent cruelty.

#50. Why???

The sweet smell of roses lingers on the fingers that gives out roses to others.

So the finger gets the benefit of the fragrance.

When the finger gets pricked by the thorns in the rose, it is the eye that sheds tears.

Again the finger gets the benefit of sympathy and protection.

Then WHY DOES the same finger FIND joy in poking the eyes that so readily sheds tears for its sake?
